Priority re-booking for autumn

From 9am, Thursday 1st July, any vacancies will be available to new players who are waiting. So, if you would like to re-book for September, please do let us know as soon as possible. The system will again mean that those players who are with us this autumn will have priority to book first for the courses in the Summer term 2011, around the end of February.

Autumn Toddler Sessions
Autumn Toddler Sessions have now been arranged. They are no longer age specific, but divided into return or new children aged 3 to 4, plus an adult on the course with them. All courses are £70. Full details can be found on the Toddler and Adult Tennis page.

Junior Tournaments
Don't forget to enter the Green level Tournament from 5 to 7pm on Monday, 27th September.

Social Session changes
Our NEW Sunday Social session for adults starts 4th July, 10am to 12pm £10 per session (booking essential from 9am each Saturday).
There will be 5 NEW Friday morning sessions for adults on 16th July, 22nd July, 29th July, 5th August and 26th August. These will be the same format as the termtime Thursday mornings, so level 3 from 9.30 to 11am and level 2 from 11am to 12.30pm. Booking essential (please book by Thursday 5pm).

Due to lack of numbers, we have sadly had to cancel the following sessions:

  • Adults Early Bird 7am on Tuesday and Wednesday
  • Adults Friday evening social 7pm (please call if you would like to attend - we will reinstate if there is demand)
  • 13+ Friday evening social 7pm (until further notice - maybe when exams are over!)

Join the LTA

Have you joined the LTA's British Tennis membership scheme yet? This is currently free and offers many benefits, and will help to put Wandsworth Common on the map. We would like all players on our Junior and Adult courses in 2010 to join, as they will then have an LTA ranking. To join, please visit the LTA website. When you get to the 'Affiliated Club' section of the registration process, you will need to select Surrey as the county and Wandsworth Common Tennis Centre as the club. Ignore the remove option and click on the 'Next' button to finish.
