All Star Tennis Terms of Business

(1) Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of our website; by using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use our website.

(2) Our details

We are registered in England & Wales company registration number 05859756.

All Star Tennis Ltd. manage the Wandsworth Common Tennis and Bowls Centre on behalf of Wandsworth Council.

We are a Beacon Site and Clubmark accredited
We subscribe to the Clubmark codes of conduct including:
1. Code of conduct for people working with children
2. Child Protection Policy
3. Policy on the use of images of children and young people (under the age of 18)
4. Club equality policy

(4) Adult and Junior Tennis Course Bookings

Places on courses are subject to availability and cannot be reserved ahead of booking online, or payment in full online or at the Tennis Centre.
(a) Online bookings can be made using debit or credit cards on www.allstarcoaching.co.uk via Lloyds TSB Cardnet (See http://www.lloydstsbcardnet.com/legal.asp for Lloyds TSB Cardnet’s terms and Conditions.) Credit card bookings will incur a surcharge of 2.5%;
(b) Tennis course bookings can also be made by cheque (made out to All Star Coaching), credit or debit card, or cash, at the Tennis Centre Office on Wandsworth Common (telephone 020 8871 4706). Credit card bookings will incur a surcharge of 2.5%;
(c) You must inform us of any medical condition, or disability, which may be relevant to the adult or child booked on to a tennis course. You must also notify us of any change or deterioration of any such medical condition or disability. We will keep this information confidential and handle such issues with discretion. It is our policy to include any such individuals within the scheduled courses wherever possible, but we reserve the right to refuse the booking if we are regrettably unable to accommodate the needs of the individual at the Tennis Centre;
(d) Toddler and Adult sessions are designed for one child together with an adult on court at all times. If another child is brought to the session, we cannot accommodate that child on the course as well;
(e) All children booked onto Junior tennis courses are fully supervised, but we cannot undertake to supervise children using the courts at other times;
(f) All children booked onto Junior tennis courses must bring drinks and snacks, and appropriate weather protection (for sun, showers or cold weather) on court at the beginning of the session. They are not permitted to leave the court without permission from the coach;
(g) We make very effort to ensure that the details on the website or in flyers are correct but we reserve the right to amend any errors at any time and will inform you of any changes;
(h) When making a booking, it is your responsibility to ensure that any course participant is the correct age for that course. We reserve the right to refuse entry to a course if any participant is found not to be of the correct age, without refund;

(5) Cancellation of courses

(a) All cancellations must be made in writing, by letter or email, and be received a minimum of seven days before the course begins. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted. On cancellation of a course booking up to seven days or more prior to the first session, a refund will be given less £20 administration fee. No refunds available after that date. We are unable to accept replacements in lieu of your booking. We do not give credits;
(b) The Sunday Workshop courses cannot be re-scheduled or refunded if affected by the weather;
(c) We reserve the right to cancel courses one week in advance of the start date in the unlikely event of insufficient numbers. A full refund will then be given.

(d) Changing from one course to another will incur a £9 charge and must be arranged at least 7 days prior to the start date of the course you wish to move from.

(6) Wet Weather Policy

Please bring protection from showers as our general policy is that courses will go ahead unless persistent heavy rain makes the courts unplayable. If in doubt, please call the Tennis Centre on 020 8871 4706 half an hour before the starting time. If more than one session is lost to rain during a course, we will offer an alternative session or a voucher.

(7) Adult Social Players sessions

Adult Social players sessions on Monday evenings may be booked in the previous week by telephoning the Tennis Centre on 020 8871 4706. If unable to play on the Monday session, you must cancel by 5pm at the latest or be liable for the fee. Booking for weekend sessions are essential from 9am on the day (same number).

(8) PAY and PLAY Bowling Green Lanes and Tennis Court Bookings

The Bowling Green Lanes and Pay and Play Tennis are subject to availability on the day
(a) Bookings start on the hour or half hour;
(b) Bookings must be paid for prior to start of play.

(9) Booking Tennis Courts up to 7 days in advance

(a) The Wandsworth Council Membership scheme consists of payment at a rate set by the Council and provides a booking card which can be used to book a tennis court up to 7 days in advance at any of the tennis venues in the Wandsworth Borough; (link to Membership page)
(b) Courts booked by members will be held for 10 minutes after the start of the booking period and, if not claimed, will be re-let. The member will be held liable for the full cost of the court at any subsequent booking;
(c) If a member wishes to cancel a court booking, this must be done by telephone a minimum of two hours before the booking commences, otherwise the member will be held liable for the full cost at any subsequent booking.

(10) Damages, Loss and Injury

Damage caused whilst at Wandsworth Common Tennis and Bowls Centre is chargeable to the offender(s). To the extent permitted by law, All Star Tennis Ltd will not accept responsibility for any injuries incurred during play at Wandsworth Common Tennis and Bowls Centre in any weather/ground conditions.
All Star Tennis Ltd accepts no liability for damage to, or loss of, any property or articles or things whatsoever, placed or left at Wandsworth Common Tennis and Bowls Centre by any person or organisation.

(11) Restricted access to the website

Access to certain areas of our website is restricted at certain periods (e.g. for priority rebooking of termtime junior and adult courses). We reserve the right to restrict access to other areas of our website, or indeed our whole website, at our discretion.
If we provide you with a user ID and password to enable you to access restricted areas of our website or other sites, this must remain confidential.

(12) Licence to use website

Unless otherwise stated, we or our licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. Subject to the licence below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.

You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from the website for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms and conditions.
You must not:
(a) republish material from this website (including republication on another website);
(b) sell, rent or sub-license material from the website;
